If you‘re looking for an African adventure, there‘s no better place to start than Kenya. This East African nation is home to some of the most iconic wildlife on the continent, from lions and elephants to zebras and giraffes.
But Kenya is about more than just its animals. With a rich culture and diverse landscape, there‘s something for everyone in this country. Whether you‘re looking to explore the capital city of Nairobi or get off the beaten path in one of Kenya‘s many national parks, here are a few travel tips to help you make the most of your trip.
1. When to go The best time to visit Kenya depends on what you want to see and do. If you‘re interested in wildlife watching, the best time to go is between July and October. This is the dry season, when animals are congregated around water sources and easier to spot. Keep in mind, however, that this is also the busiest time of year for tourism, so expect higher prices and large crowds. If you want to avoid the crowds but still see some wildlife, consider travelling during the shoulder season (April–June and November–December).
