Trek through thick. utamed rain forest to come face to face with the Gorillas!
Day 1 : Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
You will be met by a Lionlinks Safaris representative at Entebbe airport and prepare for an early departure from Kampala. Experience a full day's drive through the beautiful Ugandan countryside, skirting the North-Eastern shores of the Lake Victoria, to the ancient rain forests of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Arrival at the picturesque accommodations on the edge of the forest for lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 2 : Bwindi Gorilla Trek
Have an early breakfast at the lodge and set out into the tangled, mist-shrouded forests with experienced guides who will track the Gorillas by finding their nests laid out the previous night. Bwindi, a recently proclaimed World Heritage Site, is a magnificent swathe of dense rain forest and is one of the most biologically diverse areas on Earth.
After spending an hour with the gorillas, you will head back to the base camp for lunch and a relaxed afternoon.
Day 3 : Kampala
Start your journey back to Kampala after an early morning breakfast, stopping for lunch en-route. Arrive in the city early evening after an exhilarating visit with the mountain gorillas. You will then be transferred back to Entebbe airport for your departure flight back home.
